Save the tooth, stop the pain — usually in one or two visits.
A root canal removes infected pulp from inside the tooth, cleans it and seals it. You keep your natural tooth, and the throbbing goes.
What happens, visit by visit
- 01Diagnose & numbX-ray to see the root, then local anaesthetic. You'll feel pressure, not pain.
- 02Clean the canalsInfected pulp is removed and the canals are disinfected and shaped.
- 03SealCanals are filled and sealed so bacteria can't get back in.
- 04Protect with a crownBack teeth usually need a crown so the treated tooth doesn't crack.
What it costs
The consultation is ₹500. After the X-ray you get the full cost of the root canal and any crown in writing, before anything starts.

Root canal questions
Can't I just have the tooth removed?
You can, but a gap lets neighbouring teeth drift, and replacing the tooth later with a bridge or implant usually costs more than saving it now.
Is single-sitting root canal possible?
Often, yes — when the infection is limited. With a large abscess we usually let it settle with medicine between visits.
How long does a root-canal-treated tooth last?
With a crown and normal care, many last for decades.
Does a root canal hurt?
With local anaesthetic it usually feels like a long filling. Most of the pain people remember is the infection before treatment, not the treatment itself.
